What is CSS?

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. CSS responsible for the look and feel portion of a web page. Using CSS, you can control the color of the text and text formatting with the fonts, the spacing between paragraphs, background images or colors, and customize websites for Desktop view as well as mobile view. CSS can be used multiple times in websites using the same sheet. CSS provides powerful control over the presentation of a HTML document. Also CSS is combined with the markup languages HTML or XHTML.
